VDL Kusters - first set up business as a coach-building firm in July 1921, at Zuidsingel in Venlo. We later began building wooden bodies for busses intended for the transport of miners. When the mines were closed down, however, we had to adapt to the market. This ultimately led to us specialising in two separate disciplines. Namely coachwork and bodywork repairs.

Nowadays, Kusters products are distributed across almost the entire world. In 1992, Kusters became part of the Berkhof Jonckheere Group, which enabled us to offer all sorts of passenger transport. In 1998, the group was acquired by VDL Groep of Eindhoven, of which it remains part.

Our customer base comprises taxi & coach hire firms, public transport companies, police forces, the department of justice and ministry of defence, dealers, importers and manufacturers. We also specialise in the skilled repair of bodywork damage for private clients, almost all insurance companies and dealers.

VDL Kusters is a specialist in the field of converting and fitting out vehicles for the trasnport of passengers, in the broadest sense of the term, from 8 to even 30 persons. (kilde: Wikipedia)
